Control of the electric radio spectrum
Technical Internship - February 2013-September 2013
Duties
Responsible for re-activating a spectrum controller system, called TADIRAN. This
equipment helps to control the entire electric radio spectrum in Low, Medium and High
frequencies, regulating services such as AM from 540 to 1610 KHz, FM from 87.5 MHz to
108.0 MHz, TV, Mobile Telephony and wireless internet.
Designed a radio communication link project between 3 monitoring centers in the cities
of La Paz and El Alto. The design was conceived to use Ubiquiti and Microtek equipment.
Created a .mkl extension map with Google Earth to register all the pirate broadcasters in
the area, this tool helps the technicians to find all the pirate emission locations faster.
Monitored the radio electric spectrum periodically to check if the AM, FM and TV
services accomplished all the technical specifications according to the Bolivian
Telecommunication Law.
Controlled unauthorized radio frequency broadcast with RF Spectrometer.

IT Management Support
Internship: September 2010-December 2012
Duties
Responsible for maintaining and installing computer software Windows XP, Windows 7
(64-32 bits) and hardware, working as part of an IT support team, solving common software
and communication problems.
Configured new computers according to municipal and government standards, installing
special communication software for e-mailing and ip telephony.
Maintenance of hardware and software for users, virus/malware scanning and detection,
formatting operative systems and installing network devices.
Special internet access configuration according to user’s hierarchy, installing special
software as SITRAM, SIGMA, SIAFIM and SIM, those are to improve the users’ labor.
Network connectivity troubleshooting, tracert, ping, telnet and remote desktop.
Administered and designing LANs, internet/intranet, and voice/video networks.
