Work Experience:
2008-Present: Norco/D & I Enterprises, Oak Ridge, TN:
Purchasing Manager. My job duties include: keeping track of levels of
inventory, supplier evaluations, schedules and lead time of materials,
competitive pricing from suppliers, buying materials, and negotiation. The
majority of the materials purchased include: aluminum sheets, aluminum
flat bar, aluminum tubing, stainless steel sheets, stainless steel flat
bar, stainless tubing, carbon sheets, carbon flat bar, carbon tubing,
grinding supplies, paints, catalyst, reducers, polane, aue paints, pems,
studs, fasteners, machinery parts, machinery tooling, machinery dies,
sandblasting and powder coating supplies, welding supplies, silk screening
inks, saw blades, machine lubricants, freighting cost control. My position
required participation in tradeshows and chamber of commerce events. With
the assistance of nearly 50 vendors within the Knoxville metro area, I was
able to attain most of the supplies in a timely and costly fashion.
2001-Present: Norco/D & I Enterprises, Oak Ridge, TN:
Sales Representative. My job duties include: follow up visits, cold
calling, bring in new customers, keeping a relationship with existing
customers, tradeshows, prospecting, tax exempt certifications, credit
applications, resolving issues, collecting payment after 90 days, request
for quotes.
Activities and Interests:
Defensive player and starter for the Clinton High School football team,
1998 - 2001
In 1999, earning the rank of Certified Eagle Scout from the Boy Scouts of
America,
which is designed for a scout to do an Eagle Scout project in order to
receive his
Eagle Scout badge. He performs a project that will benefit the community as
a whole. For my project, the construction of a pavilion outside my high
school was performed. A presentation was given to the Anderson County
Board of Education to get appropriate financing as well as approval to
build the structure. Then the process to obtain a certified engineer to
approve the structure itself. Finally, with the help of individuals on a
volunteer basis only, which included me to build the pavilion. The purpose
of the pavilion was to benefit the school as a whole to give the students
and faculty a place to sit outside as well as being a place suitable for
social and school events that would take place outside.

Volunteer Experience:
All through my years of being in Boy Scouts, have helped with the Fantasy
of Trees every year around Christmas. Also assisted with many fundraising
projects to help raise money for the homeless, hungry families, and needy
in my area.
Extracurricular activities: In my leisure time: working out, the outdoors,
and playing sports was a passion. Another aspect is learning about new
cultures and people. Being actively involved in the Church of Christ is a
big portion of my life.
