Work Profile:
Ensuring that necessary reliability in systems is reached by the correct Specification Requirements
through job execution. Coordinate with the Project’s Safety, Environment & Certification Engineer and
ensure that all statutory requirements are met. Review of all certification and documentation to ensure
validity and compliance with Specifications, Drawings, Manufacturing and Inspection test plans.
Generate daily, weekly and monthly inspection reports on the Quality Status of all activities with their
schedule for completion.
Prepare work Space or Field Instruction for Production Department.
Calculate Blasting and Painting area including Structures, Supports, Equipments, Pipe Spools,
etc.
Estimate Paint material required for the Project based on total area and prepare material
Purchase List.
Analyze actual Paint consumption and compare with the initial estimation to get Yard Loss
Factor.
Review all relevant Drawings and Specifications.
Monitor and report Weekly Progress.
Assist in the performance of any testing as required.

of strength test etc.
Check the Blast materials and Paint materials for their required conformity with the
Specifications.
Verification of Batch certificates of Abrasives & Paints, Calibration certificates of all Equipments,
which is used to carry out the work.

Prior to Painting/Coating activity inspect the surface and also Monitor & Record the weather
conditions periodically.
Inspection of all Blasting and Painting work carried out at yard as well as on site at every step.
Monitoring drying time, Recoating interval time and Full cure according to the Paint Data Sheet.
Ensure Timely and Periodic inspections of all Equipments for their Quality, Performance and
Conformance to the safety aspects as laid down by the client as per Project Specification.
Inspection experience about Paints such as Alkyd, Phenolic Epoxy, Surface Tolerant Epoxy, Coal
tar, Aluminium Silicones, Silicone Acrylic, Polyurethane coatings, Inorganic Zinc coatings, FBE
coatings, wrapping coatings etc.
Inspect and assess pre blast and post blast surface is according the project specification prior to
painting application.
Checking of coating thickness as par approved procedure and specifications.
Inspecting and monitoring the Holiday test, repair of Holidays and rectification of other Coating
defects.
Carry out final inspection of the coated Pipe first alone and then with the Clients/Contractor.
Issuance of NCR, proper follow up and closing activities.
Preparing Quality Inspection Reports (daily, weekly, monthly, final, NCR).
Test Pack & Punch List clearance and then reporting to the Documentation wing.
Preparation of Adequate & Accurate records of all Stages of the work being carried out, Material
and Ambient condition.
Co ordinate with Client, Contractor and Consultant for stage/final inspection wherever it
required.
Co ordinate with Project Management Team (PMT) for Technical Queries, Log Sheet entries, etc.
Responsible for overall QC activities relating to painting/coating. Recommends methods to
improve overall quality and assist in analyzing quality concerns.
Familiar with codes & standards like SSPC, ISO, BS, NACE, ASME, ASTM, etc.
Strictly follow company rules and regulations in Quality and Safety Policies.
