staff as well as 50 per diem employees hired during school year; $28.1M

Benefits/Payroll Manager
Originally hired as Payroll Analyst and progressed to management role after
2 years in recognition of exemplary performance. Coordinated garnishments,
taxes, and EEO-1 reports, maintained COBRA software, entered salary
changes, reconciled payroll and vacation accruals, and distributed checks.
Prepared and administered benefits and rates for life, accidental death and
dismemberment (AD&D), long- and short-term disability (LTD/STD), medical,
dental, AFLAC, 403B, Section 125, and workers compensation insurance.
Promptly resolved employee claims issues with physicians, hospitals, and
pharmacies. Oversaw state and federal payroll tax reporting functions
