development of new open cut and underground mines and coal quality studies.

Key duties and skills acquired (FIELD AND OFFICE BASED):

• Field core logging and chip logging on active drill rig sites

Preparation of rock and coal samples for further testing

Team management in liaising with drilling companies, landowners and industry clientele to organize and manage

exploration projects

Interpretations of geophysical logs and surveys

Drill hole and coal seam correlations using geophysical logs and basic use of AutoCAD

Data inputting, collating and analyzing using MS Excel, MS Word and MS Publisher.
