Dunn Area Tourism Authority/City of Dunn 1998-2006 Responsible for the disbursement of more than $250,000 in hotel occupancy tax for the promotion of Dunn, NC and the Harnett County area for travel and tourism. Founding director of the Touchstone Energy NC Cotton Festival, an event that attracted more than 10,000 people to the community. Developed and maintained a tourism website, visitor's guides and worked to increase occupancy rates in Dunn area hotels by recruiting sporting events from baseball to golf.
