Resume:

John Marshall

**** ****** ***** *****, ********, TX 77339

Cell: 713/702/1968, ***********@*******.***

Objective:

To build a career with a company whose dynamic project controls team will allow me to utilize my expert skills in SAP, Prometheus, Primavera P6, and other MS Scheduling Software to monitor costs and manage resources, as well as effectively communicate and collaborate with internal and external team members of various disciplines to find solutions to complex issues while keeping projects on schedule and within budget.

Professional Experience:

Maintenance Scheduler

KAP Project Services, (Chevron Phillips Chemical Cedar Bayou) Baytown, TX June 2014 - Present

Chevron Phillips Chemical has multiple technology platforms, including autoclave, gas phase and loop slurry processes. The loop slurry process, used by Chevron Phillips Chemical and its licensees to manufacture HDPE, accounts for more than 34 percent of the total HDPE produced in the United States and 22 percent of the total worldwide HDPE capacity. The loop slurry process is one of the most predominant processes used to manufacture HDPE around the world. The Cedar Bayou facility is always growing.

Schedule control activities include the following:

Upon hiring in, CPC was just ushering in their own originally published OMWP (operations maintenance workflow process) program. OMWP clearly lays forth the roles and responsibilities for operations and maintenance from the top down. I was responsible for reading, studying, understanding, and applying all the literature therein. This process is the backbone for a first-class maintenance organization. It is designed for management to hold people accountable to their role/function in the grand scheme of the workflow. (I recently participated in a corporate wide video production involving the most improved, best in class schedule compliance metric in 1 of the units I scheduled for. Please inquire. I will show it to you).

Responsible for scheduling all maintenance activities in 3 of the 8 units within Chevron Phillips Cedar Bayou using SAP Prometheus (1092 Utilities, 1592 Ethylene, and 1492 Shipping).

6 planners on my immediate team were involved in estimating the job plans for the units in which I scheduled (3 Heavy Craft, 1 Rotating, 1 I/E, & 1 Lighting/General).

On a daily basis, communicated with 15 or so total teammates - 3 operations maintenance coordinators (OMCs), 3 team leads, and 3 maintenance specialists, 6 planners, and several unit engineers from time to time. This does not include all the dialogue between me and the craftsmen in the field. I scheduled for and managed 25-35 work centers at any given time. Some of these resources were shared, and some of them were not shared. This task involved much communication, verbal and nonverbal (turnover notes).

Gathered daily turnover notes from 2 live fields within Prometheus allowing for optimal communication of finished and unfinished work from craft foreman in the field moving along the critical path.

Also gathered direction from another user field strictly designated for me and the OMC. This quick communication was useful from a downtime necessity perspective. This allowed the OMC to effectively manage and prioritize his fore log from week to week as the needs of the unit changed from shift to shift. This helped better prepare us for our schedule review meeting by cutting down on looking at unnecessary job plans that are not ready per operations to go on the schedule.

Scheduled, on average, 800 work orders in all 3 units each week. Also was used as a fill in scheduler when coworkers that scheduled maintenance work in other units took vacation and/or were out sick. This included the plastics side of the plant as well.

Responsible for all user statuses to effectively manage items that were waiting on material, planning in process, or were awaiting engineering review. This includes any MICE (mechanical integrity critical equipment) items, or any ITPM (inspection test preventative maintenance) items that have critical due dates whether it be for environmental or engineering compliance.

Responsible for reviewing job plans, reviewing tied logic within the work order network structure, and making sure outside contractors are scheduled to come in for service as needed.

Managed priories when break in emergency work was approved by operations.

Built and maintained manpower calendars in SAP per vacations and mandated breaks for heat stress prevention.

Day in and day out used the CM25 function to “dispatch” (DSPT) work orders onto daily and weekly schedules.

Initiated the work order closure process when work was complete.

Used the CM01 function and GWOS to level resources across all maintenance crafts.
