As well as sell products myself. Also work closely with the tech department to expedite repairs to customer devices. As an Assistant Manager I do shipping and receiving duties also, as well as interview, hire, train, and occasionally reprimand staff. Hammock's at Marathon, Resort - Marathon, FL - 2011 to 2013 At this 56 room private resort on the Gulf of
Mexico in the Florida Keys. I managed the restaurant, Tiki bar, and pool area behind the hotel. It is right on the water, overlooking the Gulf and the private islands behind us. I was in charge of these areas, answering only to the General Manager of the resort. I was responsible for all of the hiring, firing, ordering, training, and inventory. Also oversee the pool area as well, as the docks behind the bar, where the private fishing charters rent boat slips from us. Also responsible for changing special menu's quarterly, and comparing / updating menu prices monthly. My quarterly bonus program includes bonus pay for: food cost, labor cost, beverage cost, guest's comments, and sales.

This position was a new opportunity for me. I was faced with many new corporate challenges. While my previous positions did have me ordering food and handling some paperwork, when I arrived at Ryan's I found myself responsible for multiple
administrative tasks. We were required to have several cleaning and prep sign off sheets that required my attention on the hour. There were multiple emails required nightly to update the district manager of sales and percentages regarding individual sales. I managed a staff of approximately 30 employees from the front to the back of the house. I was required to do passing of new food items on the hour as well to engage guests to ensure proper service and return business. Baker's Ribs - Weatherford, TX - 2003 to 2006
Is a smoke house that does authentic Texas BBQ. I handled all end of day paperwork, scheduling, cash handling, food ordering. I managed approximately 15 employees. We did extensive catering business that did require some travel. Baker's Ribs was and still is in the top 50 BBQ in the country. This position taught me a lot about smoking meats. The position did not however provide any health insurance or benefits.
