WORK EXPERIENCE

I have worked as a Trainee Automation Engineer at Biznustek Systems Pvt. Ltd. The job role includes programming the Delta PLC, Delta HMI, Delta VFD, EXOR HMI and the panel wiring for the machine.

I have programmed the PLC according to the requirements of the machine (AKVAZEN) for instance changing the frequency of operation according to the temperature variation automatically thereby the speed of motor changes.

The whole program for AKVAZEN was rebuilt by me where the length of the program was reduced drastically making it readable and more stable in terms of operation and error handling. The number of Inputs/Outputs used was reduced by new program hence few IOs could be used for backups thereby reducing the cost for additional modules.

EXOR HMI was used for IOT purpose where I have designed different graphs according to the daily requirements of the faculty. VFD parameters were set in a way that it displays power factor, input power, output current etc.

In panel wiring, the number of relay cards has been reduced by rewiring NC contacts of the existing relays which decreased the cost of 1 complete relay card. I have even prepared a panel board for automatic tank filling operation by ancient hardwired relay technology without PLC, Latching Relays or audino board by using simple relays.

I have provided a sound solution to the problem at IAMPL due to which our company saved the cost of a 7.5hp motor which was supposed to be replaced due to overheating.

Problem:-When AKVAZEN was running on UPS supply, after the duration of 1hr the motor was getting heated up and the temperature rise was up to 130degrees with a current input of 13A. This was not desirable for a safe operation because the motor winding gets damaged and core saturation takes place.

Solution: - There is a presence of harmonics in the power supply which might be either from the UPS or any other non linear loads. As a result of harmonic contents in the power supply the motor is getting heated up above the permissible value which reduces the efficiency and lifespan of motor. This was confirmed by IAMPL.

TRAINING UNDERGONE

Obtained Post Graduation Diploma In Industrial Automation (PGDIA) from Wartens Technologies LLP, Bangalore. I have completed this course by writing an exam conducted by the board of CTDS which is Govt. of India approved autonomous body with B+(above 70+) grade.
