I would describe myself a consummate professional in the field of social work. I have accumulated many

Independent Contractor

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I am contracted with Community Connections of New York, Child and

Family Services, Mid Erie, Child and Adolescent Treatment Services, and New Directions Youth and family

Services to provide in-home therapy to aaddress mental health and behavioral health services. I am 1 of 6

independent contractors in Erie County to provide these services.

Social Worker

As a Social Worker I facilitate Psychiatric Social Groups. My groups in part prepare patients for discharge

and community integration. Iassist in mental health treatment and recovery. I consult with BPC in matters

related to mental health on an as requested and, on an as needed basis.

My duties as the Program Director were to oversee, manage, and direct operations associated with

service delivery of mental health and substance abuse for adolescents in the western New York catchment

area.

Bethel Head Start Inc., Buffalo, New York 1998 to 2013

Disabilities Coordinator/Health Manager

Head Start is the largest family development program in the United States. I interface with county, state

and federal offices, community service providers and, 10 local school districts on a routine basis. I manage

and coordinate all health related services for the Head Start program which serves 544 children and their

families in 10 locations across Erie County. Health related services include mental health, disabilities, health

and, nutrition. I directly manage a staff of 15 and, provide clinical supervision for over 150 program staff. I

chair the programs Strategic Planning Council that develops and implements strategic initiatives for the

program.

I have established numerous community collaborations with various community service providers. I have

secured grants from private foundations and have brought hundreds of thousands of dollars into the

program through in-kind and, contractual agreements.

As chairman for our programs Strategic Planning Council I govern the activities of 6 sub-committee's which

are; Quality Assurance, Health and Safety, Child Care Review, Strategic Initiatives, Grant Procurement, and,

Employee Relations. I have significant community contacts and networks that would benefit any

organization that I may become affiliated with.

Promoted to Program Manager in March 2009.
