Program Director/Business Relationship Manager

In this position, responsibilities included leading and managing an IT team and a portfolio of internal Merchandising, Supply Chain, Food Safety and Merger Initiatives with budgets in excess of $25 Million dollars. Acted as the liaison between the key Business Executives, Officers of the Company and IT to drive business plan, long term strategy and estimated yearly budgets to achieve the desired outcomes for US and Global roadmaps

Achievement Highlights include:

Delivered a Consumer Analytics and Big Data platform integration with IRI Worldwide for monetization of shopper data trends that produced $25+ million dollars in annual revenue for the ADUAS Brands. This consisted of the Frequent Shopper Program (FSP), Supply Chain (SC) and Rest of Market Program (POS) modules to support the overall strategy.

Delivered a Customer Master Data Management CMDM Platform on the Azure Cloud in support of all 5 ADUSA brands and their frequent shopper programs for direct customer marketing and consumer purchasing patterns with an expected profit increase of 25-35%

IOT -Identified, architected and implemented temperature monitoring for the transport of fresh products from field to distribution center. Automating the monitoring process allowed for a 50% increase in QA inspection times and an overall 30% increase of product shelf life for consumers for most products.

Delivered a third-party platform to automate the onboarding of suppliers and the tracking of product to comply with governmental sustainability and regulatory standards. This implementation was conducted for the Sustainability Department in coordination with promises made to shareholders for sustainable goods.

Lead merger efforts of merchandising departments between Ahold and DA for the onboarding of merchandising and supply chain personnel from all 5 banners onto the Delhaize Merchandising and Supply Chain platforms.

Increased company profits by $400K per month by identifying and correcting billback issues to vendors for vendor related sales and markdowns.

Delivered governmental compliance updates to the GuidingStars.com site for FDA mandated nutrition changes saving 1000’s in potential fines.

Lead all efforts for the re-platform and rewrite of the internal GuidingStars.com program on the Azure Cloud. This project increased productivity for that team by over 75% and system reliability by 90%. It also included an additional nutrition site as well as mobile application platform.

Lead the integration and acquisition efforts for AAP and Car Quest Merchandising Systems, including process improvement with SOP’s and automation of manual entries for marketing, merchandising and replenishment teams and systems.

Data transformation changes to reconcile merchandise attributes to bring both companies to one purchasing and replenishment system.

Updated the automation for the STEP Product Master Data Management (PMDM) platform and work flow for the movement of data throughout system platforms. This included updating the order management, distribution, merchandising, marketing, plan-o-gram, analytics, distribution, finance, .com, catalog and POS changes.

System changes and integrations included, STEP, JDA, Oracle RMS, AS400, SAP, Teredata, IBM Data Modeler and other third-party applications.
