Background Profile

After graduation from Cleveland State University, I was involved with a Pulmonary Research at Rainbow Babies and Children's Hospital . In 1975 I completed a Respiratory Therapist Training Program at the University of Chicago. I obtained my credential of Registered Respiratory Therapist one year later. I worked as a Therapist and Paramedic at University Hospitals until begining my Dental School education. During my Junior and Senior years at CWRU School of Dentistry, I spent the weekends working the Emergency Room at Huron Road Hospital. Following my graduation, I was accepted in a General Practice Dental Residency at the Medical College of Ohio. I was appointed Chief Resident over seven Dental Residents. The Residency provided intensive training in all aspects of the profession. While Dental School was valuable for an overall education, it was limiting in that a few number of procedures were performed. The Residency afforded opportunity to perform many procedures under scrutiny by Specialists in all fields. Further, training in treating extreme situations, emergencies, health issues, psychological and medical issues has the added benefit of being prepared for everyday issues in Private Practice.

In 1987 Purchaced a small Dental Practice with approximately 50 patients.

Maintaining a Practice of Private Pay and Insurance with no HMO, PPO or Welfare, the clientelle list grew to over 1200 in five years. During my years private practice from 1987 to 2011 there were no Legal issues or siginificant difficulties.
