resourceful material – Hydroxyapatite

from sea shells and modify it into

filler, film, gel and scaffold by doping

ions (silver), blending with chitosan

and polymer respectively and cross

verifying its biocompatibility. Further,

to create a patient specific implant by

modeling with softwares like Mimics,

3- Matic.

Final Year Project

ACHIEVEMENTS

Got selected for the Foreign Technical Training Program (FTTP) organized by the Government of Tamilnadu and went to Swinburne University, Melbourne, Australia to attend a 15 days program and finally proposed an idea for smart city project for Chennai on observing the city of Melbourne.

Was awarded with cash prizes for the Best project and Best innovative project in final year Biomedical Engineering.

Was awarded as the Best student of 3

rd

year Biomedical engineering by alumni

association of CEG.

Won a gold coin for getting CGPA 10 in the 3

rd

and 4

th

semesters.

Awarded Francis Cotton Walker Scholarship Endowment for 2016-17 for UG toppers in BE-Biomedical Engineering.

Won a State Fourth and District First Rank in Bharat Institute of English Proficiency Test in the year 2015.
