Career Objective

I am here to seek full time employement in a school where I can use my teaching capablities. My own philosophy is of valuing each child as an individual as well as part of community. I know that students do not all learn in the same way or at the same pace. Some need more time than others to master a particular skill. My six years of teaching experience in early elementry has taught me ways in which I can differentiate the learning experiences using various strategies suitable for the level of the students. I have seen great results in my class using differentiation as my teaching practice.

I believe I can only begin and inspire learning by being a lifelong learner myself. To live this belief, I must continously examine my teaching methods and find new one. I learn from my students as much as they learn from me. I like talking to them about the topics that interest them, understand what they think and feel about things happening in the world in order to help them understand how their actions affect the world around them. I help my students to be reflective and I believe teaching is so much more than just giving information related to a topic. I encourage my students to constantly think and reach conclusions by asking them questions that trigger their critical thinking.

I desire to give the children as many learning oppurtunities as possible, in order to engage, motivate and prepare them for a bright future.
