Assisting in the total maintenance, cleanliness and reportage of any abnormalities within the ship to the appropriate authority.

Assisting in the maintenance of Life Saving Appliances (LSA), and Fire Fighting Appliances (FFA).

Assisting the bosun on every deck work.

2.2013 - Deck Cadet at Edison Chouest offshore

Responsibilities:

I was a member of the team that was responsible for total maintenance, cleanliness and reportage of any abnormalities within the ship to the appropriate authority.

I was a member of the team that was responsible for the maintenance of Life Saving Appliances (LSA), Fire Fighting Appliances (FFA).

Assisting the bosun on every deck work such as, chipping, painting, grinding, maintenance of structural integrity of the deck along with some ropes work, berthing and unberthing operation, port work and cargo operation, ISPS watch, paper work at sea, passage planning and ship navigation.
