Worked in every aspect of our plant, i.e. Production, Sanitation, Packaging, Cleanup, QC, Food Service, Night Loading

PRIMARY DUTIES:

Established /Maintain our Food Safety Management System

Perform daily record reviews of all quality line checks and supporting documentation (PCQI Level II Trained)

Participate in the HACCP/Internal Audit /Food Safety Teams

Aid in resolution of Customer Inquiries, complaints with trend and root cause analysis

Annually train entire staff of 190 employees, supervisors and managers in all aspects of food safety and GMP subjects.

Lead, assist and share expertise in FSSC 22000 Audits, AIB Audits, Pepsi QAS Audits, Military Audits, State Health Dept. and FDA Audits

Perform bi-monthly pest control audits, off week pest audits, and act as liaison between the Munster facility and the pest control provider

Conduct Food Safety, GMP, Brittle Plastics, Glass audits, Internal Audits monthly

Coordinate and maintain Corrective Action Program from discovery to resolution with root cause analysis.

Trained all employees on various safety topics such as Lock Out Tag Out, Ladder safety, Fire Extinguisher, SDS, Chemical usage, Forklift safety, etc.

In charge of plant micro program such as plating, reading and reporting all micro related issues with corrective action and root cause analysis

Confident in assessing and giving determinations on out of spec issues with quick reactions to food safety matters that protects the company and its consumers.

In 2018 Helped our plant achieve a 905 unannounced AIB score. Highest score in our plant history.

Achieved a 98% on an internal PepsiCo QAS audit, highest in plant history.

FDA unannounced audit with no 483 notices.

Helped establish our Food Safety training, most comprehensive in the company
