WELDING QC INSPECTOR:
Welding inspectors are employed to assist with the quality control(QC) activities necessary to ensure that welded items meet specified requirements and are fit for their application.
Welding inspectors need to understand/interpret the various QC procedures and also have a sound knowledge of welding technology.
Witnessing welder qualification test (WQT), procedure qualification test (PQR) and reviewing welding procedure specification(WPS) in accordance with asme sec IX and make sure that welder is qualified for a broad range of jobs.
