Professional Organizations and Volunteering
Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign—Founder 2006
Before 2006, the Triad region for Bank of America did not do anything for breast cancer. The very first event was a golf tournament which I organized. Helped raise over 20,000.00 in the course of my run as Chairperson. I have been Responsible for organizing over 2000 associates annually for the Breast Cancer Awareness campaign for the region. Worked with outside vendors for donations for our Silent Auction, from Disney tickets to Airline Tickets along with several business in the area, as an example of our big fund raisers. . Helped give back by arranging the Mammogram Mobile each year for over 100 ladies to receive their annual mammogram. Have built a great relationship with several representatives from Susan G.
