SANSTONE HEALTH AND REHABILITATION December 2015-April 2019

Regional Operations Manager-Regional oversite of approximately 550 beds in four SanStone facilities in Eastern NC. I directly supervise four Administrators. I am responsible for ensuring facilities maintain regulatory compliance. I have direct oversite responsibilities of the physical plants. I ensure administrators: meet monthly budget expectations, maintain overtime at less than 5%, maintain CMI greater than 1.25, maintain RUG maximization, remain agency free, maintain re-hospitalization rates below 15%, maintain staffing PPD, conduct weekly Medicare and Medicaid meeting, maintain an effective QA program and A/R management. I have an extensive Human Resources background. I am an effective leader and team builder.

VP of Clinical Operations-Responsible for supervision of three Regional Clinical Mangers and three Regional Reimbursement Managers on a day to day basis. My team is responsible for regulatory oversite of 14 skilled nursing facilities containing approximately 1500 skilled beds. The duties of the team include all aspects of Regulatory oversite pertaining to RUG maximization, CMI maximization, MDS oversite, Quality Measure oversite, ADR and TPE oversite.

Responsible for successful clinical software integration for all SanStone facilities. Responsible for successful integration of SanStone pharmacy services (TridentCareRx) into all SanStone facilities to include eMar integration.

Responsible for Policy and Procedure creation and implementation to include all aspects of Requirements of Participation readiness for all 14 SanStone facilities.

I work with SanStone attorneys on all Medical Record Reviews that have potential compensatory issues. I am present and participate at all SanStone legal Mediations and Arbitrations.

I have been directly involved in six successful SanStone Facility acquisitions over the last 2 years.

I work on a peer level with VP of Operations, VP of Special Projects and the Chief Financial Officer. I have been a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator since 2007 and a Registered Nurse since 1991 in the state of North Carolina.
