As the President of the Staff Association at Couples Sans Souci, it was my duty to have regular staff meetings. This was to update the staff on the plans we were under-taking to negotiate salaries and benefits, also to gain their feed back and input of what is happening on the property. I had monthly meetings with the general staff to give an updated presentation on the plans that the company has in store for the them, and to relate our achievements as a staff body on our negotiating pursuit with the executive body and the CEO. My responsibility was to be a mediator between the staff, HR department, Head Office and the Executives. I was to maintain a balance and to ensure that the Staff Association body hold the company liable to the contract which they have signed to provided benefits to the staff.

Leadership

I was the Treasurer of the Couples Sans Souci Environmental Club, President of the Staff Association, Member of the Planning Committee, Member of the Healthy And Safety Committee, Member of the Heads of Department (HOD) and member of the Grade Six Achievement Test (GSAT) awards committee.
