FABRICATION AND TESTING OF HYBRID ORGANIC COMPOSITE AND ITS COMPARISON WITH MONOLITHIC MATERIAL 6 months
The objective of the project was to fabricate hybrid organic composite from bamboo and sugar cane bagasse waste, using epoxy resin, and compare its properties with monolithic aluminium which is most commonly used in aviation field. After the fabrication it is subjected to various testing. The given specimen showed improved flexural, impact and hardness properties than aluminum whereas the tensile and water absorption rates were poor. But due to the low cost and easy availability of raw materials we concluded that the hybrid organic composite are superior than aluminum for aviation industry
STUDY OF AIRCRAFT WINGS THAT FOLD WHILE FLYING 3 months It was the study project done as the partial fulfilment of B.Tech degree. Here we studied the folding wing of a hypersonic aircraft. The wing is folded up, down and kept straight during its steady and level flight. The analytical studies showed that the wing tip folded downwards has reduced drag considerably than the other two cases.
