I interviewed, hired, trained, and fired all dietary staff. I printed out all tray tickets and snack forms for the residents each day. I did kardex up-dates daily regarding any changes such as admissions, discharges, and diet changes. I attended daily department head meetings. I met with the corporate RD on a weekly basis to discuss any new diet orders and any other issues regarding the department. I participated in the Guardian Angel program and visited all assigned residents on a weekly basis to discuss any new concerns or issues. I oversaw all special functions and summer picnics. I met with vendors to do new product testing. I participated in the annual state survey.
