Project Engineer St. James Anglican Church Asokoro Abuja F.C.T 01/2018 to 04/2019

The construction of the new St. James Anglican church project: the building consists of a basement meant for children church and offices, the ground floor as the church auditorium, 1st & 2nd Floors as the galleries and the 3rd floor as the Clergies office and finally has a Tower of 9 floors.

Performed the levelling and setting-out.

Decided and resolved all technical issues raised throughout the duration of the construction at the site.

Consults the Vicar in charge and Set up meetings with the Architects, Chief Technical Officer, and building committee where necessary.

Successfully Delivered the Project. Project Cost: 750million Naira

Senior Civil Engineer Roche Group Holdings International 07/2017 to 01/2018

The construction of Imo Police Quarters: the prison section consisting of 3 blocks, the Administrative and 2 the prisons – all round reinforced concrete walls except for the administrative section/block.

Performed the levelling and setting-out, corrected the errors at the foundation level as well as developed working schedule to meet the client’s expectations.

Introduced and incorporated into the design drains for storm water and provided storm water calculations for sustainability and efficiency of the infrastructure.

Monitored and rated the progress of work done by the contractors and suggested better ways for improved production and utilizing man-hours.

Amended the window and door schedule at the prison section for better ventilation and easy periodic check by the warders while ensuring maximum safety for both the warder and inmates.

Visits the yard to ensure proper preparation especially that of concrete mix and strict adherence to the design engineer’s specified strength.

Chief Resident Engineer Details to Dot Development Nig. Ltd. 06/2012 to 07/2017

The construction of 9 storey building including basement to serve as parking slots; office complex development.

Client: ESJ Services Ltd. Cost; 15million USD.

Foundation type: Pile Foundation

A total of 162 numbers of piles at depth of 11meters each were casted insitu and cased with pile-caps of 62 numbers at depth of 1.8meters each all chained with Raft Beams @ 225*1500 mm.

Performed all the site markings for the excavation and all the setting out throughout the duration of the project.

Decided and Resolved all technical issues raised throughout the duration of the construction at the site.

Supervised, monitored, taught and rated all the skilled and unskilled laborers that worked on the project.

Monitored the overall performance of sub-contractors brought to the site and recommended the best to the company.
