CIVIL & STRUCURAL ENGINEER PROFESSIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for the quality and workmanship of every activity, thorough knowledge of all phases of engineering construction relating to all Civil operations,
Monitoring actual project progress and co-ordinate any corrective actions required to keep project on budget and on time.
Perform all daily inspection and test of the scope and character necessary to achieve the quality of construction required in the drawings and specifications for all works under the contract performed ON or OFF site
Checking bar bending schedule of structure i.e. reinforcement fixing, concrete pouring, and expansion joints as well as pre-pour and post pour.
Approved drawing and applicable stand work at site and also follow up control procedure and project specification. Making site technical queries clarification to ensure that all civil work carried out accordingly and compliance with standard drawing.
Review technical reports for rehabilitation work as per site condition an contract.
Checked the plane, profile grades and checking of material availability in site as per drawing.
Review drawing and checking of materials availability as per drawing.
To maintain all work backfilling soil testing material checking.
Responsible for all laboratory personnel and all issue regarding to materials.
Testing such as soil classification for approved borrows materials, suitable and unsuitable materials on site, soil bearing capacity thru plate load test, and in-field density test and nuclear method.
Preparing monthly report to the consultant and municipality.
Collecting and reporting of result and active involvement in the technical aspects.
Cary out inspection and checking for all quality related procedures in the site and ensures activity at the site are as per approved method statement and inspection test plan. 3
Coordinate with the consultant’s representative and Site In-charge for inspection and meeting about quality problems including the closure of Non-Compliance Report.
Report to the Manager, control, and monitor all activities related to Quality Management System, QMS.
Taking care of documents of the entire project including certificates, calibration, test results, inspection requests, non-compliance reports and site instruction/observations, permanent materials delivered and other documents. Responsible for the closure of Non-conformance, NCR and Site Instruction, SI.
Develop method statement for the activity including risk assessment and job safety environmental analysis and Inspection Test Plan and Checklist based on specifications of the project.
Liaise Carry out Internal Audit at the site as scheduled in the Project Quality Plan, PQP. the Technical Engineer for submission Supervision of all types construction works including the earth work Sub-grade, Sub Base, Road base, Aggregate Base Course, Bitumen Base & Wearing course and super pave asphalt
(Mix design ), prime coat, take coat, Asphalt.
