Served as the Food Operations Sergeant responsible for providing oversight of 9 Dinning Facilities (DFAC), 9 DFAC managers, and over 2,000 food service personnel throughout the Camp Arifjan area of responsibility.
• Performed quality assurance inspections, monitoring contractor performance and compliance of a mulita-year, multi-echelon food service contract valued in excess of $36.5 million annually.
• Managed the Dining Facility potable water contract which covered water delivery to all 9 Dinning Facilities throughout the 7 camps in Kuwait.
• Conducted annual safety training in preparation for the 101 days of summer; the military’s most dangerous time frame for Soldier fatalities and accidents as well as winter safety training for all Soldiers and civilians under his leadership.
