Objective of position

Follow up implementation of Procurement Plan to ensure purchases of material & supplies at most competitive prices, best quality and at the right time; in compliance with the over-all objective of the Organization.

Main duties & responsibilities:

Managing the departmental team to ensure performing their duties efficiently & effectively.

Participating in outlining the Procurement plan, policies & procedures.

Effective negotiations with the suppliers to obtain best conditions, payments & delivery modes.

Establishing suitable data base for generating required data & information reports.

Concluding & frequent checking & review of suppliers’ contracts.

Overseeing the purchasing annual budget.

Understand & execute the feed plants’ needs of the raw materials contracts as they relate to: schedule, buffer, quality and packing.

Understand the shipping lanes and shipping lines normally used by Suppliers from individual sources.

Understand the Suppliers behavior and reliability in executing Contracts and issuing documents to avail materials at receiving points.

Understand the ports procedures at shipping and receiving points.

Understand and implement the logistics processes at the shipping and receiving points.

Control and implement the accounting processes for the balance needed on daily basis to keep the feed plants operations uninterrupted.

3)Manager, Admin & Human Resources – Electro Industries Co. ( 1989- 2006)

Main duties & responsibilities:

Participate in drawing-up and implementing the company Personnel & Admin policies and procedures.

Assist in implementing and controlling the organization over-all policies and procedures.

Prepare, review and consolidate data of the Department budget for the over-all company business plan.
