I’m seeking to start a new challenge in my career as my interests have led me to want to work with a state or government agency. The Realty Specialist Position with Bureau of Land Management is an attractive opportunity as I’ve been seeking a position that aligns with my education and work experiences. For the past 20 years, I’ve worked in both Commercial and Residential real estate. Prior to being a Realtor in Arizona, I started my career at a Commercial firm in Chicago after interning with Grubb and Ellis during college. After 9/11, I took on a job at the FAA doing Commercial lease negotiation and site acquisition before relocating to Phoenix. In my work, I’m most comfortable:

• Working in a database. Over the past two years, I learned how to use databases (MLS, LoopNet, CoStar, DocuSign, Skyslope, Boomtown, Monsoon) and excel spreadsheets to manage and oversee transactions done by my team of realtors.

• Providing customer service. In my current position, I’m responsive to client needs and concerns.

• Reviewing public records and inspection reports, contracts and data. In the past 15 years, I’ve had to review and interpret information to help my client’s make informed decisions.

• Coordinating multiple parties to gather all the necessary due diligence that is readily available in a timely fashion to help interpret and arrive at a decisive course of action no matter the type of real estate or structure of the agreement.

If given the opportunity to work for the Bureau of Land Management, I would use my knowledge and skills to support Staff, the public, engineers, contractors, and others. Working with people and providing great services is something I’ve been doing for years. I currently reside in Scottsdale with my wife and three children. I love the outdoors as a life scout, grew up camping, scuba diving, hiking, boating, biking, running, swimming and diving. I read a lot of science fiction and played football.
