Defluoridation Of Water Using Zeolite As Adsorbent

Maximum permissible concentration of fluoride present in water is 1.5 mg/L as per by WHO.

Fluoride is present in less amount helps in strengthening of bones and prevention of tooth decay .

Fluoride present in excess leads to various hazardous diseases such as osteoporosis, arthritis, infertility and cancer, etc. so our aim is removing of fluoride from water with the help of zeolite, a form of Microporous Aluminosilicate

Development and performance evaluation of light emitting polymer based thick films for strctural applications

The light emitting polymer composites with considerable load bearing abilities are of significant in civil engineering applications for both interior and exterior applications. The interior applications make use of the inherent ability of light emitting polymer composites to absorb day light and emit the same under dark. The optically active materials are the most sought after for exterior pavement applications. Thus, herein an attempt is made to develop one such advance polymer composite that display a combination properties such as improved load bearing abilities and appreciable light emitting characteristics
