MANAGEMENT
·First maintenance person to take on developing the Continuous Improvement database kicking off the program with a plant presentation. Currently leading the CI meetings keeping the cross functional team focused on the tasks at hand.
·I’ve managed multidisciplinary groups while working at: Bridgestone, Shaw Environmental, MTU, and Starbucks.
·In the US Navy, filled the role of Lead Petty Officer in charge of all the Electrical Division staff.
MENTORING

·Currently lead the Continuous Improvement program at the Starbucks Augusta Soluble Coffee Plant. This group is a cross functional group helping those that need assistance in developing their ideas then directing the appropriate resources to make them come to fruition verifying the results using Plan, Do, Check, Act Steps.
·I tend to lead by example and am very direct when in a discussion for efficiency.
·Led the maintenance department in technical issues instructing partners in the process.

AUTOMATION SPECIALIST STARBUCKS APR-2015 TO PRESENT
·Developed Augusta’s Continuous Improvement Program from scratch and lead a cross functional team at weekly meetings updating all ongoing projects progress with the Plan, Do, Check, Act mindset.
ELECTRICAL MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN IV M.T.U. (A DIVISION OF ROLLS ROYCE OFF ROAD DIESEL ENGINES) JUL-2012 / APR 2015

SERVICE TECHNICIAN BRIDGESTONE AUG-1998 / JUL-2010
·Created and lead a cross functional kaizen team for the tire assembly area; developing and monitoring all continuous events in this area improving throughput and reducing downtime.
·Developed and lead various projects of many sizes from small up to a 5-million-dollar project which took two years to fully implement working with: engineering, production, quality, different sub-contractors and maintenance. The project eliminated many problems at once and increased the machines’ overall efficiency.
·After discovering the rotary atomizer became obsolete during plant commissioning created a conversion unit to replace process problems and changed over to the new system plantwide for 250k with a rapid payback period of only 3 months.
·Led kaizen event to improve the offline pigment area throughput increasing mixer capacities.
PETTY OFFICER SECOND CLASS US NAVY JUL-1992 / AUG 1998
·Lead Petty Officer in charge of the E-Division.
·Electrical Plant Supervisor for maintaining the entire shipboard electrical distribution centers during normal operations and plant emergencies.
·3M coordinator is the Preventative Maintenance program for the Safety PM and shipboard PM coordinator.
·Supply Petty Officer managing all parts and equipment transactions for E-Division keeping within the budget constraints.
