Role is Both a Supervisory and Clinical role in within a large volume clinic at Emirates Airlines Headquarters provides primary health care, aviation medicine and occupational health care to a section of its employees and their families. This includes families, pilots, engineers and cabin crew from over 170 different countries.

Supervisor to more than 20 Nurses whom are grade 6, 7, and 8 nurses. Supervisor duties: rostering, oversight of the Nursing care in clinic, and a contributing role in the operations, accreditation (through the Australian Council on Healthcare Standards), and committees within the Medical Services Department, in collaboration with the Clinical Operations Manager, Clinical Services Manager, Allied Health Manager, Medical Director, Senior Aviation Medical Examiners, and other admin staff.

Clinically: included; travel medicine and vaccination clinics, Primary Care Basic Clinics: wound care, cryotherapy, managing ENT issues for example: barotrauma (recurrent issues in related to Aviation Medicine). Urgent care/walk In clinic, in which patients were evaluated, treated, and triaged in order to be referred out to Emergency for a variety of acute and urgent illnesses. Finally, our Cervical Screening program for the Cabin Crew, is accredited by the Royal college of Nursing. We have a protocol for performing cervical screening, taking Pap smear tests, our lab performs the cytology and we follow up the patients for referral out to colposcopy when needed and continue to track and recall them for their future tests according to protocol set for cervical screening by International Best Practice Guidelines.
