Thermal analysis of a corrugated plate heat exchanger to study the effectiveness and efficiencies of a plate heat exchanger with different materials to study the advantages of plate heat exchanger over other type of heat exchangers like shell and tube type heat exchanger etc. The desirable thermal characteristics of a plate heat exchanger can be further enhanced by the corrugations provided for increasing the surface area so that the convective heat transfer is more. A heat exchanger with good thermal properties and corrosion resistance features is designed and studied.
