Senior Operations Manager (June 2017 to Present)

Senior Manager responsible for a 400,000 sq ft facility with 300+ employees and leading process improvement projects. Facilities Manager in charge of all building and equipment maintenance.

Implemented new SICK scanner technology into conveyor system to obtain dimensional data for incoming products that improved and organized warehouse putaway and slotting process. Implemented new receiving process to include introducing new racking and conveyor system which significantly improved Receiving Time of Incoming Inventory from weeks to days as well as reducing headcount in department (from 30 to 25 operators).

Improved and introduced new slot rack design to improve put away processing of products by having operators slot whole boxes instead of individual pieces which again improved efficiencies and reduced headcount.

Implemented new quality and efficiency metrics to be tied to objective KPIs and facility scorecard measuring such as picking, checking and slotting efficiencies as well as mispicks (quality accuracy).
