Monitored and reviewed reports on a daily, monthly and quarterly basis and performed utilization management services.

Responsibilities included: Utilization Management of the following psychiatric services: Therapy/Counseling, Psychosocial Rehabilitation, Community Support Group, Assertive Case Management Treatment, Community Support Case Management Treatment. Provided customer support services and assisted in the application process for the Individual Care Grants. Our customers were the Illinois Division of Mental Health and the provider agencies throughout the State of Illinois receiving funding from the Division.

Services provided for adults, 18 years and older, children and adolescents, deaf and hard of hearing, and indigent populations.

Responsibilities included: Program development, implementation, and management of Behavioral Health Services based upon “Best Practices “ and

“Evidenced Based” treatment modalities. Involved in utilization review, inter- intra departmental relations, policy, and procedure development and implementation, administering capital and operating budgets. Provided clinical and administrative supervision for a clinical team comprised of licensed social workers, psychologists, case managers, nurses, psychiatrists and trainees.
