Dispatcher

Started as a contractor (temp. job) as a dispatcher – writing up tickets for the repair technicians for their daily work. If they had any problems with their ticket, they would call us back for instruction & or directions or if a customer has any pets in the yard or a locked gate. When the job was completed the tech would call back to close out the ticket, then we would dispatch them to another repair. My contract was up (2 years).

Then there was an opening for the call center/customer service rep. The first seven months was training. The job consisted of talking with the customers explaining their monthly billing (refunding money if needed) explaining new products and services and placing orders for new service and telephones. Also solving problems and complaints. This was also a high- volume call center (95-125 calls per day).

After training was completed to be an operator – As a telephone operator, my duties were to interrupt busy lines if an emergency warrants it. Keep records of all calls placed and received and of m related toll call charges. Listen to customer requests referring to alphabetical or geographical directories to answer questions and provide telephone information
