Profile: A few years after starting my career in wholesale distribution, I discovered my passion for all the elements of the supply chain. The complexity, the timing and the human factor. I have focused my supply chain experience in the area of procurement, from retail and restaurant purchases, up to the very large material management quantities at the importer/processor/manufacturer and distributor level. I have expertise in ordering truckloads of mixed products, developing procurement forecasts six weeks to six months out and strategic purchasing to increase profits and decrease costs. I have also held management positions responsible for replenishment, production planning and logistics. For the last 22 years, I have been successfully contracting and consulting for small and medium sized businesses that required outside expertise in logistics material management and procurement. I offer my clients highly effective solutions that align with their operational procedures, category management and risk management policies.

·Project management experience for contracts ranging from 6 weeks to 20 months

·Part of a dynamic Planning, Buying and Sales department within a $650 million dollar sales-oriented poultry processing organization. Worked directly with the Ops Manager and President

·Category Management experience working with proteins (meats, poultry and seafood, both fresh and frozen), fresh dairy products and eggs, groceries, commodities, specialty foods, frozen foods, packaging, paper and disposables as well as soaps, cleaning and chemicals.

·Complete P&L responsibility for a fast-paced, multi-million dollar FMCG and B2B wholesale food importing and distribution business
