Career History

Experienced Mathematical Economist

In December 2017 I retired from a 35 year career in institutional investment management. I began my career after studying mathematics and economics at Brown and MIT. All of my positions have involved mathematical modeling, development and analysis of economic phenomena and financial assets. As a bond trader, a commercial mortgage banker, and a portfolio manager I focused on asset pricing and risk management. Throughout my career I worked closely with marketing and sales teams to explain to institutional investors how products I developed and/or managed could benefit them. My expertise in solving complex quantitative problems from first principles lends itself to making sense of the complexities facing businesses and organizations of all types. Curriculum Vitae
