Professional Summary
Educator with International Baccalaureate (IB) and Regents experience, dedicated to ensuring students’ success. Four year of teaching Regents Geometry (with 87% passing rate on the statewide exam), six years of IB Mathematical Studies SL, a pre-college course that samples upper level mathematics (my students’ averages significantly surpassed the worldwide averages for the world course exam) and one year on Algebra II/Trigonometry, Pre-Calculus and AP Statistics. I also wrote the curriculum for and taught a remedial Statistics course designed for low achieving students. In addition, served as the Coordinator for the IB Middle Years Program (MYP) during the final year of the program’s evaluation as well as teaching IB Theory of Knowledge, a two-year epistemology course, for both the junior and senior levels. I have also taught Regents Prep for both Geometry and Algebra II/Trigonometry.
