Manage all incoming concerns for families in the Mount Isa and Gulf Surrounding Region
Allocation of investigations to authorized officers and authorize completed investigations in accordance with the Child Protection Act 1999 including applications for Child Protection Orders and Child removals.

Full monitoring of offenders during their progressing at the Centre including initial assessments, Offender needs risk inventory (ORNI) ongoing review regarding self-harm, substance use, withdrawal and detoxification or mental health conditions.
Complete unit inductions for up to 40 high risk offenders to ensure a comprehensive understanding of the Risk Assessment Team functions and expectations within a Correctional Centre Environment.
Engagement with Maximum security offenders including adherence to specific safety protocols.
