Tasks and responsibilities
Growing of different vegetables in the field including tomatoes, carrots, egg plants, pepper, kohlrabi, celery, turnip, cabbages, kale Swiss chard, lettuce, cilantro, beets, corn, squash, and broccoli.
Growing and taking care of fruits with different agronomic practices like pruning, thinning, fertilizer application, harvesting, thinning involving strawberries, raspberries, cranberries, apples, watermelons, pears, peaches, nectarines, apricots, blue berries and plums.
Participating in different activities in the park house involving washing and packing of different fresh products for the market, storage, processing and value addition.
Attending different farmers’ seminars and conferences with practical knowledge and ideas for ore improved technology.

Harvesting, sorting, grading and packaging of products for the market.
Regular report evaluation and planning sessions and project implementation sessions and finding solutions to identified challenges to progress.

Participated in main farm activities as follows;
Growing and management of different vegetables in greenhouses and open fields, these included pepper, cabbages, squash, strawberries, fennel, celery, tomatoes plus fruits like avocado and pomegranates.
Soil preparation, tillage and nursery bed organization and sowing practices plus raising seedlings.
Pruning, training and trellising of tomatoes and other crops that grow on stakes.
Irrigation, harvesting and other day to day agronomic practices for high production.
Packaging, branding and loading of different fresh products ready for market, fruits and vegetables.
4. COMPANY NAME; ISHAKA ANIMAL FARM(U) LTD, dealing in commercial sheep and goat rearing,
