Job Description:

Certified by Saudi Aramco. Can erect all types of scaffold and is responsible for ensuring that scaffold erection, alteration, and dismantling is done safely, in accordance with the scaffold plan and requirements of Saudi Aramco standards.

Supervise / Inspection Scaffolding works safe design, erection, and dismantling as required by Aramco.

Supervise, Inspect, and sign scaffold tags for all scaffolds, including special scaffolds. Identify scaffold hazards and verify compliance with applicable standards. Ensure that dismantling of scaffold is planned, orderly, and performed level by level from top to bottom.

Ensure that scaffold materials are returned and properly Stock Are their designated storage location after the scaffold is dismantling.

Responsible for ensuring that scaffold erection, alternation, dismantling is done safely in accordance with the accepted scaffold plan.

Responsible for the appropriate use and placement of scaffold tag on all new or altered scaffolds.

Ensure that all scaffolding materials are approved for used and in accordance with G.I.8.001 requirements.

Ensure that all scaffold erectors are qualified, prior to carrying any scaffolding services. Ensure that erection and dismantling of scaffolds are compliance with the client requirements plans and the Saudi Aramco scaffolding safety handbook.

Ensure that the daily erected and dismantled scaffold report is correctly completed. Organized, and supervise all scaffold works as appropriate. Report to the designer or project in charge any discrepancies between the drawings and the actual site conditions for proper modification.

Job Description:

Inspect the job location as per client’s job request. To estimate the scaffolding material and to ensure that it is sufficient for platform.

To coordinate daily with superintendent and engineer regard to prior giving instruction to supervisor which activities prioritize.

Advice and remind all supervisor to monitor at all times especially during erecting of scaffolding on live plant / platforms. To monitor at all the time worker at the site and platform.

Improve the standard and quality of scaffold standard that is requirement of IS 1966 & BS code of practice 5973. Extensive knowledge of OSHA Scaffolding regulations.

Preparation of all necessary permits and safety requirements for the erecting of scaffolding, STA’s, Scaffold Permits, Night Work Permits, Toolbox Talks. Extensive knowledge of ARAMCO Scaffolding regulations.

Extensive knowledge of British Scaffolding Standards and regulations.

To remind foreman and worker that safety rule and regulation is always being adhered to Processing Electronic Safe Work Permit, Safe Job Plan as per equate standard and submit for client’s approval.

Conduct pre job start briefing to all the scaffolding technicians at the job site and also explain all the hazards identifications in the job site and preventive measures recommended as per the safe work permit.

Ensuring all engineered scaffolds are erected according to the approved engineers drawings. Explain to the work force emergency response procedures, safety shelter, assemble point, emergency alarm code, and safety shower and break glass location.

Issue tools and safety equipments as per the nature of the job requirements. Coordinate with safety departments to arrange PPE to the scaffold.

Continuous monitoring in the job site while erection, dismantling and storing materials etc.

After completion of the job thoroughly inspect by the scaffolding supervisor or scaffolding safety inspector and arrange Green Tag.

Handover the scaffolding to the client after close the work permit and proper housekeeping.

Conduct periodical inspections and maintenance to all the scaffolding Materials and ladders.

Reject and store separately the scaffolding material which were damaged and tag “DO NOT USE “

Submit recommendation to project manager the new scaffolding material procurement on replacement. Assist for calculation of billing from clients.

Conduct tool box meeting every day morning. Conduct routine Inspections at the job site.

Extensive knowledge in all types of scaffolding, Tube and Fitting, quick stage, Cup lock, Welded Frame Tank Scaffolding.

Impalement all the safety rules and regulations and eliminate all the safety deficiencies at site immediately coordinate with safety department to inspect all the safety equipments and recommend.

Immediately to project manager for procurement in case any damage as per the recommendations of the safety department. Submit daily report, Weekly and monthly reports periodically.

Carry out the official job to assist supervisors whenever they required. To prepare the daily progress report and submit to supervisor.

Unsure all Scaffolding is erected according to the Client and Project requirements and regulations. Ensuring total Safety of all employees during scaffold erection.
