Projects: Airbus A400M Ailerons& Spoilers and Airbus A350 XWB Ailerons

• Designed access skin panels of Airbus A350 ailerons (wing control surfaces) carbon fiber reinforced advanced composite where the TAI is the Risk Sharing Partner of Airbus.

•Designed for Manufacturing (DFM) with minimum weight using CATIA V5 and maximum reliability.

• Performed basic stress analysis and modal analysis of composite aileron ribs using NASTRAN/PATRAN.

• Contributed to design studies for material selection, weight and cost reduction, calculated the mass distribution, moments of inertia, balance and weight breakdown in Airbus A400M.


MS Thesis: “Finite Element Analysis of a Developmental Hip Dysplasic Bone and a Normal Bone Comparison” (2017).

• Worked on femur bones of real Developmental Hip Dysplasic Patients’ CT images using Materialize MIMICS.

• Manually calculated Hounsfıeld Units (HU) based on the CT images using MATLAB.

• Calculated the Von- Misses stresses by using finite element analysis method in ABAQUS Finite Element Analysis (FEA) software under specific loading conditions.

• Modelled a shortstemmed hip prosthesis in CATIA V5, embedding this prosthesis to previously modeled femur according to Total Hip Arthroplasty (THA) operation.

• Investigated the resolution of DICOM data used before modeling was evaluated and the effect of resolution, zooming, distance between CT slices and number of slices on the model quality.
