Facilitated community organizing skills and strategies for failing school districts and parents who were in disarray. Organized parents and increased parent engagement by eighty percent.

Hosted community conversations meetings with several school districts that involved parents, teachers, students and administrators.

Conducted forums throughout small communities around education related issues.

Organized a door-to-door campaign that included surveys to get feedback from the community in regard to the performance concerns of the local school district.

Organized and assisted in rallying the community around an education initiative that would have mandated state government to fully fund public schools.

Served on a research counsel with The Kettering Foundation and developed an educational resource material for public deliberation.

Facilitated community engagement workshops for Mississippi School Board Association (School board members in the state of MS) and training community members to understand the role of the local school board)

Served and assisted with the development of a Education committee with Area Development Partnership in Hattiesburg, MS
