IN-HOUSE AD DESIGN MANAGER, BRIDES LOCAL PRINT

Conde Nast Publishing - New York, NY - July 2005 to October 2011

Responsible for design of advertisements for clients unable to produce their own print-ready materials. Kept records of all designs (for all 17 regional markets) produced in-house based on client, market, ad size, and date of approval by client. Upon completion of ad designs, was responsible for converting all files to high-resolution PDFx1a files in order to ship to prepress house via their FTP site. Also responsible for gathering of advertiser data and page formatting for index pages for all 17 regional markets of magazine.

ASSOCIATE PRODUCTION MANAGER, MODERN BRIDE CONNECTIONS Conde Nast Publishing - New York, NY - December 2003 to July 2005

Responsible for magazine layout of 17 regional issues through Impoze program, overseeing progress of Production Coordinators with regards to ad production and maintaining working relationships with sales representatives, editorial staffs, printers and graphic service providers, billing department and own production staff. Kept records of attendance and assisted staff in trouble-shooting difficulties with problem clients. Also personally responsible for working with various regional advertisers in sister publications of Bride and Modern Bride Magazines, entering insertion order information into data server and ensuring timely and accurate deliveries of ad materials.

PRODUCTION COORDINATOR: VOGUE, CONDE NAST TRAVELER & BON APPETIT MAGAZINES Conde Nast Publishing - New York, NY - July 2001 to December 2003

Responsible for trafficking advertisements for Vogue, Conde Nast Traveler, and Bon Appetit Magazines with regards to coordinating schedules with advertisers, sales representatives, printing and promotions staffs to establish maximum efficiency and quality in said magazine. Responsible for digital preflighting of ads, entering insertion order information onto data servers and approving blue-line printouts of ads sent to me by the printer. Also assisted fellow coordinators of other publications in preflight training.

GRAPHICS PRODUCTION COORDINATOR

Cahners Business Information - New York, NY - November 1998 to July 2001

Responsible for managing all aspects of graphic production for multiple publications at work site as it pertains to classified page building, digital ad preflighting and creating customer ads while adhering to deadlines for all titles involved. Worked closely with sales, production, editorial and prepress staffs to establish maximum quality and efficiency in terms of work output. Acted as sole Coordinator for entire site, managing a steady increase in volume (one publication title to nine in the space of two years) while still meeting all deadlines.
