DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES AS SAFETY PROFESSIONAL:

Develop and maintain an effective Safety and Fire Prevention Inspection Program, which includes provision for appropriate reporting and follow-up of hazards identified

Inspecting Scaffolding, Scaff-tagging system.

Maintaining the records for third party certification for lifting tools and tackles

Regular inspection of working condition of workers, taking work permits of specific sites from supervisor.

Co- ordination with client and sub-contractor.

Co-ordination with staff.

Conducting periodic tool box meeting, periodic inspection of Equipment’s and tools used in daily activities.

Conduct or coordinate worker training in areas such as safety laws and regulations, hazardous condition monitoring, and use of safety equipment as belts, shoes, goggles etc.,

Maintaining near miss reports, making daily observation reports regarding the work activities of the site.

Reports accident investigation findings.

Investigate to minimize or prevent recurrence.

Order suspension of activities that pose threats to workers’ health & safety.

Conducting inductions to the newly appointed staff and technicians.
