PROFESSIONAL HISTORY

Ford Motor Company Brazil Ltd. Apr/1995 – Jul/2018 Multinational automaker is part of American Ford Motor Company Group, with 14,496 employees at Brazil and sales of 214.642 vehicles, resulting on 4th place at Brazilian Automakers rank. Ford achieved the market share of 9,6% on 2017 – 0,4 p.p. better than previous year.

Powertrain Integration Management and Business Office Spv – Responsible for the Integration of Powertrain Systems projects and responsible for 04 areas: Program Management, Quality, Cost Reduction and Business Office.

As management of Cost reductions of Powertrain, I achieved US$ 6mils/avg. on last 5 years, affecting directly the Ford results and reducing material and labor costs of PT systems and increasing the contribution margin of trucks models.

Continuous Quality improvement reducing the R/1000 (Repair/1000 vehicles) and CPU (Cost per unit) for all models - Cargo and F-Series. São Bernardo Truck Plant quality results contributed positively to Global Ford Quality results.

Leading the implementation of Budget Expenses report, I started a model to show the status of Powertrain SA Budget to manage US$ 16 mils (2014CY) and get the required efficiencies and offsets for not provisioned expenses. This report was extended to all Powertrain areas and a review flow set up to monthly reports to SA Powertrain Director. This model of management represented and year over year savings of 20% of budget (US$ 4 to 10 mils) and all offsets identified.

I performed studies with strategy team to revise the Products Cycle Plan of sub-B vehicles, that included the Platform of KA gen. II (B406 Ka Project of US$ 140 mils.) and a new Global B562 platform gen. III. At that Cycle Plan interaction platform gen II and III were booked with engineering estimates of variable cost and investments on tooling to produce the vehicles with base vehicle assumptions stablished by Engineering in accordance with attributes agreed by all areas of powertrain, chassis, body, marketing and Legal Requirements of each market.

Leading the management of Powertrain Integration systems, I tracked all programs of Powertrain since 2012, according to stablished timing plan at Program Approval and achieving all variable costs and investments in tooling’s, controls devices and special tools required for Service.

As a Program Manager I conduct a Quality Program at Ford South America for Focus platform produced, this program included the identification and implementation of all Customer complains to achieve the Quality level required by the Customer. All actions identified since the vehicle purchase until the vehicle resale reduced the cost of ownership consolidating the Ford Focus Hatch as leader at C Class Hatch at Brazil & Argentine markets. MMCB Mitsubishi Motor Company Brazil Nov/1994 – Apr/1995 Brazilian company started as importer of buildup units and currently MMCB produces ASX, Lancer and L200 line up with CKD`s imported from Mitsubishi Japan. After 2017 MMCB incorporated the production of Suzuki Jimny at same plant with 16,467 units assembled. PDI Coordinator – As Pre-delivery Inspection coordinator I reported direct to Sales Director with a Team of 20 mechanics.

Responsible for all operational aspects of vehicles receiving from the Port of Victory/ ES, I defined and selected the team to make the initial revision, tropicalization with installation of regulatory items on vehicles and the final quality inspection for shipping to the dealers.

As representative of MMCB Brazil I participated of the first shipment of vehicles Colt, Pajero and L200 4X4 at Porto f Mizushima/ Japan, that were loaded to the vessel with 2000 vehicles Mitsubishi to Brazil.

I started the development of a Brand for aftermarket for all Japanese and Korean vehicles, the study of this business opportunity started with a prospection of possible suppliers at South Korea, mainly exhaust pipe and radio antenna with compact design for all vehicles at Brazilian Market. Cablex- VOFA OEM Cabos de Comando Oct/1989 – Nov/1994 Brazilian company association with Xavier-Vorbrugen AG, produced all type of command cables for OEM and aftermarket in Brazil, with 270 employees at Sao Paulo/ Brazil has average of 200 thousand cables produced by months with Total Revenue of R$ 3,6mils avg. year. Industrial Manager - Report to company president with 05 direct reports.

Responsible for the production, material, development engineering and tool shop, I promote the movement of the 03 plants in only one plant with implementation of manufacturing cells solving the production bottle necks resulting on production efficiency of 3 to 5% of total revenue of OEM supply (mainly GMC and Autolatina – Ford & VW).

Responsible of development engineering of command cables for the new project BE 6/7/8 (Escort, Logus e Pointer), I promote a know-how transference from VOFA to Cablex of the new cable type that works at traction and compression. Cablex supply all prototypes, drawings, specifications of engineering tests for this new cable at AL.

I coordinated the development of the doors latch cables for news Escort and Logus with know how transference between Vofa to Cablex. This project included a trip to Germany for selection and purchasing special injection machine for a manufacturing cell of 50 m2 and a capacity of 1,0 mils cables per year. EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND

Member of the Personnel development Committee - PDC from 2008 until 2017. It was very gratefully to help the whole Powertrain Trucks engineers to be exposed and developed giving him opportunities to show their potential as a key talent. During this period as a result I have 06 promotions to Management Roll and 15 promotion to Senior levels. This was one of the best results during 3 years consecutive and also honored with Employee Satisfaction Index of 97%.

During 1996 I was assigned to Motorsport Manager position, representing Ford at National CBA Brazilian Automotive Confederation and state federations and Formula Ford Teams. Then I organized the National Championship with CBA agreement at important cities. The budget of US$ 1,0 mils supported the Formula Ford National Championship with 14 races, enhancing the Ford Institutional Marketing and Ford brand perception with free media printed and broadcasted.
