While with the State of Tennessee, I served as a civilian Architect for the Tennessee Military Department, implementing projects from inception through construction of both new and renovation projects as well as training ranges; Architect and Program Manager for the Department of Finance and Administration managing an eight year capital improvement program which included renovations, improvements and expansions to every prison in the Tennessee Department of Correction system, as well as 4 new 2,000 bed medium security state prison facilities. As the Assistant Director of Facilities Management for Tennessee State Parks I was responsible for the management of the capital improvement design process, contract negotiations, programming, budget control, construction administration and project closeout.
