Mainly responcible for checking clients medications and counseling on there use. Large amount of pillpacks filled in this location, so responcible for checking pillpacks. The store was also a fair large dispenser of methadone, so witnessing dosages was part of the job. high area for drug abuse so spent time counseling on abuse potential with clients and with the physician.

When Shoppers was bought out Paragon Pharmacies, where I was the Pharmacy manager, I was hired as the Shoppers Associate June 15/2013 and ran the entire store. With no formal Shoppers training, I continued to run the store as I had when it was still Paragon. I was originally trained in Calgary on the new Shoppers filling system called Health Watch and apon returning to The Pas, integrated and trained my staff on the new system. It was a bit harder to teach my staff on the new system in a short time window, but we eventually got comfortable and worked the new system well. It was an extremely busy store and we filled on average 300-400/day. I was a normal pharmacist 95% of the time and had little time to run the store to the way it should be. I filled scripts (data entry on Health Watch), counted medications, checked pill packs, componded some prescritions, filed prescriptions and tried to councel on all medications.as many patients as possible, Also did flu shot injections, and helped clients pick out OTC products.
