GMD Facility Security Manager As the Facility Security Officer (FSO), I am responsible for implementing and maintaining the Facility Industrial Security Program. Accomplish all duties as the Facility Security Officer (FSO), including preparing related files and paperwork, maintaining security databases and completing security related functions as required. I develop and maintain the security Policies and Procedures. Responsibilities include processing personal security awareness training for the GMD personnel including in brief and out brief procedures and annual refresher briefings, maintaining and visitor control records and coordinating off site visits. I perform access control by maintaining the Badge System. I implement all applicable portions of the National Industrial Security Program Manual (NISPOM). I also conduct Security Self Audits and maintain security clearance database. In addition, I maintain and monitor for accuracy all security clearances for personnel through JPAS, I receive products (For Official Use Only (FOUO)) from authorized sources and verify for accuracy and completeness. I Interface with the US Office of Personnel Management; Manage DoD Security Eligibilities & Accesses for Bechtel employees working the GMD project; develop & maintain procedures to authorize interim and final classified information access levels; coordinate, prepare, execute, and track all Collateral Visit Authorization letters and Visit Notifications; conduct classified Collateral operations in accordance with the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM) as required in order to complete program deliverables; develop, implement, and maintain the emergency procedures listed in the Collateral Standard, Practice & Procedures (SPPs) for the GMD program; immediately initiate government mandated preliminary inquiry upon receiving a report of loss, compromise, or suspected compromise of classified information; conduct security self-audits, and surveys of cleared facility procedures, classified workspaces, physical spaces, and cleared/in-clearance processed employees to ensure compliance with security programs and government regulations; prepare briefings to Bechtel management and government customers.
