Senior Implementation Project Manager

Directed the build-out of a new data center in the city of Highland, California, consistently observing operational goals. Led teams of cross-functional employees in the execution a new Fiber Optics system and cabling network for the corporate offices and all remote sites, with ZERO downtime. Prepared documentation for standardization of hardware and software processes for all MDFs and IDFs, negotiating pricing and fees.

Oversaw procurement, coordination, delivery, and inspection of all hardware products.

Liaised with all stakeholders, vendors, and team members in operational excellence.

Initiated the implementation of portfolio management of a new application software (daptiv) for the PMO, providing and conducting scheduled training for all users.

Directly reported to the CIO of IT, and recruited to manage the network design at the corporate offices in Los Angeles, CA. Managed all required adjustments and correction of PCI vulnerabilities, and led a staff of two contractors.

Key Achievements

Procured all required routers, and scheduled installations, implementing LAN segmentation and changes to the IP address and subnet for the Wi-Fi systems at retail stores.

Approved and initiated the planning for the upgrade of a new CISCO phone system to UC 10.5, consisting of new phones, server upgrades, and new application software.

Installed RetailNext cameras and analytic software at 70 stores, in conjunction with router upgrade.

Wells Fargo Dealer Services, Irvine, California Jun 2010 – Nov 2011

Senior Infrastructure Project Manager

Infrastructure Project Manager for the expansion of Wells Fargo’s existing Data Center and Development Lab.

Expansion consisted of server relocation within the data center, fiber cabling, switches, and DR recovery testing.

Phase #1 consisted of physical server relocation and included documenting server location, virtual domains and working with all application owners.

Single source for managing all technical meetings for vendors, facilities staff, business units, and insured on-going communication to senior management.

Implemented new 500KW uninterrupted power supply (UPS) system and 12-cylinder Cummins generator system without disruption to the Data Center.

Managed the deployment of the integrated suite of application software for Hyperion and Essbase systems. Implementation consisted of UNIX servers, database repositories and application development. Project managed vendors, clients and business partners.

Countrywide Bank Feb 1995 – Sep 2008

VP and Infrastructure Project Manager

Key Achievements

Managed the implementation of two new bank data centers in Simi Valley, California and Fort Worth, Texas.

Implementation consisted of installation of AS400i series systems all software and servers.

Project managed the implementation of new bank Fiserv software applications.

Mitigated project risks/issues and escalated when appropriate.

Project managed communications between vendors and all business units.

Project managed the infrastructure build-out of Countrywide’s first Bank Data Center in Alexandria, Virginia.

Build out was completed on time and within budget.

VP of IT and managed the construction of a new Data Center in Dartford, England. Responsibilities included managing over 100 clients in Dartford England and the US. Managed cost expenditures directed communications and related network LAN/WAN installations.

Requested by senior management to create and manage the new Business Continuity department.

Documented a nationwide “Disaster Recovery Plan”. Reviewed and worked with business units and IT management on new disaster recovery strategies. Updated strategies based on client’s Service Level Agreements and expectation of financial loss and business disruption.

Managed the successful relocation of Countrywide Data Center and Corporate Offices from Pasadena, California to Calabasas, California. Relocation consisted of moving IBM AS400, HP Servers, 1000 Desk Tops and Printers
