MorganFranklin Consulting - Team Booz Allen 2018 Senior Manager Financial Improvement Audit Readiness (FIAR) Supported the Department of the Navy and Marine Corps serving as the overall project manager for six work streams and over 20 consultants. In this role I tracked billed hours, organized funding documents with the prime contractor, Booz Allen, and assisted our billing department in receiving invoice payments timely. I was actively building client relations in Southeast Virginia and working on the delivery of two Department of Navy clients.
Infrastructure Resources, Inc. - Team PWC 2017-2018 Financial Improvement Audit Readiness (FIAR) Subject Matter Specialist Liaison to the US Transportation Command (TRANSCOM) Working Capital Fund (WCF) portion of the Military Sealift Command (MSC). In this role I acted as the coordinating point for all independent public auditor (IPA) requests. Informed the MSC FIAR Manager on all matters relevant to the audit functions being performed at TRANSCOM and impacting MSC.

In the Coast Guard Yard and Miscellaneous Payables Branches I supported accounts payable technicians with Oracle Financials system issues, the certification of commercial payments and the reporting of Financial Management Performance Indicator (FMPI) Metrics utilizing COGNOS query. I temporarily acted as Accounting Supervisor in the Commercial Payables Branch during a time transition. In this role I conducted candidate ratings and interviews for a number of hiring panels. Senior Auditor Financial Improvement Audit Readiness (FIAR) I lead a team of four auditors developing improvements for the Defense Logistics Agency’s Chief Financial Officer to achieve long-term financial audit readiness and sustainment. Deliverables I managed included the Defense Finance and Accounting Service (DFAS) Mission Work Agreements
(MWA), DLA organizational redesign, organizational readiness, competency development, and the identification of audit readiness impediments from the DFAS support to the DLA. Analysis involved assessing process and system interfaces between DFAS legacy accounting systems and DLA's SAP Enterprise Business System. Our team published two audit readiness gap analysis reports for DLA senior management.
